Some of you may be aware that I parted ways with a certain organization last year in a blaze of fire. I spent November of 2023 writing, but not tracking in a joyful way with others. For the first time in 14 years, I actually had time to spend with my family –not thinking, “Wow, I could be getting so much writing done right now!”.
The truth is, I outgrew that organization years ago. Some years, 50K in 30 Days was more of a challenge than others, but in the last few years with them…I was above and beyond. I started publishing my work in 2020, and as of the end of 2024, I will have 10 books and 1 short story available to readers around the world.
I don’t miss them and am better off without them.
I DO miss the camaraderie, the friends, and the support network that was built up in my many years with them. So, I am joining in what remains of my old region for November Story Month, or NoStoMo. We’re encouraging folks to just WRITE during the month, with no specific joint goal in mind.
